7 Vegan Snack Alternatives to Swap into your Diet (List post)
Hello to all my Nature's New Nook subscribers! On today's blog post I will be providing you with seven different snack alternatives to replace with your non-vegan snacks. These snacks are my personal favorite recommendations that are both healthier, delicious, and more nutritious than their non-vegan counter parts. I will be sure to link where you can buy these snacks, pricing, and images as well. Let the snacking begin!
- Hippeas Vegan White Cheddar Organic Chickpea Puffs - Link
These delicious cheesy flavored puffs can replace your typical Cheeto puffs. Made with chickpea flour that gives you more protein in this snack. Give them to your non-vegan friends and I promise you they would never guess they were vegan.
2. Frontera Salsa's - Link
Instead of munching on cream or meat based dips like french onion or tuna, swap it out for these delicious Frontera salas's. With over ten different flavors to choose from the low-calorie and guilt free dip is one you can go to town on. The salsa is packed with antioxidants and adds extra flavor to any food. Enjoy with tortilla chips, tacos, or burritos.
3. Beyond Meat Plant-Based Burgers - Link

"But how will I get my protein?" These veggie burgers from Beyond Meat have taken the world by storm. Packed with pea proteins, these burgers can satisfy your indulgence of wanting to enjoy a meat-like burger without claiming the lives of innocent animals. The real life meat-like texture and taste will guarantee can fool any omnivore.
4. Ben and Jerry's Non-Dairy Ice Cream - Link
Before going vegan the hardest thing for me to give up was ice cream, it's my favorite type of desert. So when I saw my favorite ice cream brand come out with multiple non-dairy ice cream flavors, I was ecstatic! It is the same sweet and creamy taste as your regular dairy ice cream but is made with a almond milk base. I highly recommend the Fudge Brownie for your first try.
5. JUST Egg - Link

Made from plant-based ingredients like bean protein and other spices, complete your morning vegan breakfast with JUST Egg. Although I will full admit I am not a fan of this stuff just by itself, it can replace regular hens eggs that are needed for recipes. I like to add this stuff to my baking recipes like banana bread, pancakes, or french toast. It is also a great alternative to use for breading tofu or tempeh.
6. Trader Joe's Vegan Mac'n'Cheese - Trader Joe's (in-store only)

One of my favorite new vegan snack discoveries from Trader Joe's, this tub of plant-based pasta and creamy "cheese" sauce will easily satisfy your Kraft mac'n'cheese craving. Simply just heat up in the microwave and enjoy! A healthier and dairy-free alternative that makes going vegan a lot easier.
7. Tofurkey Vegan Smoked Deli Slices - Link
Of course I had to save the best for last, but the tofurkey plant-based deli slices are an absolute game changer. My favorite type of food is a good bagel sandwich with a side or chips. These deli slices give you the exact meat taste and texture of your typical meat deli sliced. They are packed with protein and have no cholesterol added.
